The article describes the advancements in the DNA sequencing technology. This is a crucial research for clinics and for the patients to be able to understand these advancements the nurses are the most important part in the research. Since they are the ones interacting with the patients they have to be able to learn the information and be able to explain,so the nurses work closely to the doctors. Some quotes that play a significant role in this article are, “nurses play a crucial role in turning genetic information into concrete action plans for their patients”, “nurses need to understand this crucial information extremely well and be adequately prepared to support patients.” As well as this being credible authors of a well known website, I found this article by researching the google scholar website. By using google scholar, it makes it upload more credible sites and sites perfect for research. By finding this research, I will use this in my final project and help support my essential question. Furthermore, I can research more about this topic and how the nurses are involved in this.

The article describes the new advancements in prosthetics for military members that want to get back to active duty. It also explains the study of the way to send signals to brains from the prosthetics to be able to fully function like the real arm/ hand. They have a well known neurologist and nurses helping them and to make the arms look more like a real arm to help the people like the prosthetic more. Because about “50 percent of people who need upper extremity prosthetics don't even use them”( James 1), they are changing this and making it more comfortable and useful. In this article, there are potential quotes that are able to confirm information. They are, “...really has only one function, and that's to move you hand where it wants to go”,“The experiment determined that the brain uses an initiation code to begin a motor activity”,“... study advanced upper- extremity prosthetics to benefit soldiers,other servicemembers and civilians.” This article is reliable because it comes from a school accredited website. This article is a few years old, but it will help with comparing the advancements in today's times. Overall, the information I've found will help with going with my essential questions and help with my research of how nurses help with new technology advancements. I can also use this article to help understand the rapid advancements in this technology.

The article describes the different parts of the job of a nurse. It then goes into detail of all the positions and their meaning in the healthcare field. By reading this article you can find the way they train the nurses and what is expected of them when employed to be a nurse. An Important quote that could help with this project would be, “explore the relationship between nurse staffing, nurse job satisfaction, nurse practice environment, burnout, and nursing care quality through a consideration of what is meant by perceptions of nursing care quality.” As I’ve researched my other bibliographies, this one is also from google scholar that is a school credible site. Furthermore, this article will help investigate the true meaning of the nurisng career and to be able to support my essential question.
